The latest comfort features combine to make these versatile boots among the most comfortable you can buy. They have a 3DMax footbed with three layers: one for comfort, one for support and one for shock absorption. V-Lite® refers to the vertical build concept that strips away as much weight as possible from the boot without sacrificing performance or durability. The M-pact insole has a moisture-wicking, contoured EVA footbed to provide support and absorb shock. Lightweight memory foam cradles your foot for a custom fit. Dri-Lex® is a multizone lining system that transports moisture away from your foot. The fabric closest to your skin stays dry, cool and comfortable. Vibram® high-performance outsoles deliver superior, long-wearing traction and resist chemicals. Imported.

After the glowing reviews I was disappointed in these lightweight, comfortable, but poorly constructed boots. I'm wondering if, like some of your other offerings, they are now more cheaply made than they originally were, as I notice they look slightly different than the one in your picture. On steep, rugged trails they lack ankle support. Your original Meindl Ibex was a superlative example of a lightweight but supportive boot. These offer little more than a pair of trail running shoes. If you want something comfortable to kick around in, go for it; otherwise, for serious trekking, consider boots more worthy.

A GOOD BOOT

I bought my boots for police work in out back Australia. Although they are light weight, they have worn well and look good. The light weight of the boots allows for comfortable wearing all day. They some times need brushing to maintain the look of the leather, but I have been very satisfied with my purchase. Many of my colleagues have or are considering buying this product.

When I ordered my 8 1/2 wides, they were on back order for as long as 8-10 (?) weeks, but as I had hoped, I got them in about 6 weeks...and let me tell ya... IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT!!
The size is right, and the "wide" has plenty of room. These boots are super light weight and the soles are pliable and really grippy. These "Spider" boots are stable, weightless, padded top to bottom, and I think it would be safe to say, "the most comfortable boots I've ever had the pleasure of wearing in my 53 years".

Boot that wears like a tennis shoe

The Magnum 8" Elite Spider Boot is an unbelievably comfortable boot, no break in time required and very light. I work in construction and walking on concrete all day will let you know very quickly how good a boot is. This boot is a boot that you can wear 14 to 16 hours a day and your feet are still ready to go a little farther. I would recommend this boot to anyone and the price makes this boot a boot for anyone.
