These boots have a combination of leather and 1,000-denier nylon in the upper, built on Danner's TERRA FORCE™ X Lite performance platform which offers exceptional support for your foot with minimal weight. All three models are also backed with waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX so your feet stay dry in any weather condition. Imported.
Sizes: 7-14 D and 8-13 EE widths. Half sizes to 12.

Love the boot; hate the eye loops

This has been my 3rd or 4th set of Striker boots. I wear the boots a lot for work and all pairs have been great except for the last set. Once Danner went to the plastic eye loops they started getting lower reviews. I have lost almost all of the eye loops on the current pair. I removed them and never replaced them. The boots have always been great but hope they will bring back the metal eye loops and speed laces. The tread will wear down before any part of the boot fails. Great looking boot and works well for public service employees on their feet alot. Most comfortable boot ever owned except for the first week of break in. Will continue to buy regardless of the eye loops due to comfort.

Bad eyelets

The overall construction of the boot is very good with the exception of the eyelets. They are plastic and break very easily in a short time. I had to replace my first pair in less than 4 months and now less than a year later the eyelets have broken again.

Great Construction, Poor Design.

The construction of this boot is excellent, with triple stiching, thick leather, and a comfortable base. However, I am having to return them due to the way it rubs on the medial malleolus (inside ankle area) of both feet. After wearing them around the house on two seperate occasions, I simply could not get past the pain to warrant keeping them. It is a shame that I have to return them, because again, they are very well constructed.
