A special PVC coating, which remains flexible in cold weather, is applied to a heavy cotton fabric to ensure that even the heaviest downpour stays where it belongs. Outside and inside storm flaps with heavy-duty snaps seal the parka. Imported.

My last Helly Hansen jacket lasted for almost 20 years. I'm expecting the same out of this jacket. Stands up to brush when walking the river banks. Neoprene cuffs would be nice addition to future models.

No pockets. At all.

Great raincoat, heavy and well made, great in rainstorms . . . except that it has absolutely NO pockets inside or out. Therefore it's just about useless to me.

I used this parka for a rainy week in Northwestern Ontario and it kept me dry the entire time. The only thing I could have asked for would have been something to tighten the ends of the sleeves to keep water out.
