Carhartt® Canvas Shirt Jac – Regular

With triple-stitched seams and rivet-­reinforced chest pockets, this shirt jac is ready to work as hard as you do. It’s made of sturdy 9-oz. cotton canvas and lined with warm 4-oz. cotton flannel. Features snap-adjustable cuffs with extended plackets that make rolling up your sleeves easy. Antique-finish brass snaps. Imported.

Ok. Let me just say this is a really really nice shirt jac hands down BUT whoever is sizing Carhartts shirts these days is ridiculous. I did read the other reviews before I bought and decided to order a shirt one size down from what I normally buy. I usually wear a large but because of the reviews I bought a medium. I thought for sure I'd be fine. This shirt is HUGE. This medium looks more like an XL. My wife and I could both fit in this shirt at the same time (hhmmm maybe i will keep it. Lol) After trying it on I was going to do the unthinkable and exchange it for a small, which I haven't worn since grade school, but this shirt doesn't come in small. Just for reference I'm 5' 9" with a 40" chest size. I know this because I was recently measured for a tux. Take this information into consideration when you buy this. So my two stars are because of my wasted time, my disappointment, and dissatisfaction with this situation. Like I said the shirt is really really nice. I am bummed I won't be able to have one. No negativity towards Cabelas. They always deliver.

I read the reviews for this shirt and decided that the tall would probably be to long for me. I'm 6'4" and 245 lbs.
So I order the regular 2X. When I got it the shirt came to within 4 inches of my knees! I wanted to wear it with the tails out but thought it looked like an old fashion night shirt. But if I tuck it in it bunches up so much it looks like I have a diaper on.
Carhart could sell more of these shirts and save money on materials if they would make the lengths normal. I wouild hate to try on one of these that was a tall. Probably would drag on the ground.

Long lasting I have owned mine for five years and the neck just started to wear away from my corse beard. Shirt is also very warm. I have bought more.

Received Two Shirt Jacs, Tall. one for son-in-law the other for me. It was strange the plastic bags were ripped open. The Large for me is much TOO Long even for the son-in-law, his was the XL.Ordered via sizing chart. I like the shirt from an appearance standpoint but would be embarassed to wear it out. Cabela's Flannel-Lined Shirt does not show up under "Shirt Jac" search if that is the one you are looking for. Owned one of these for years and love it. Will most replace Carhartt with Cabela's Brand.
