Comfort from day 1

I own and operate a commercial lawn and garden business. I'm on my feet all day so comfort, support, and durability are all key.
I bought this boot last year at the start of my season and was I impressed with it right out of the box. The boot fit like a sneaker had ton's of support and not stiff like some leather boots i have had in the past. The Gortex works great, doing it's job and keeping my feet dry.
Like most Danner boots the laces did not last six months which it strange on a work boot. and part of the stitching is coming apart at the toe area.
if it weren't for these two negative things Ii would rate it as a five.
thinking of getting another pair for next season.

I bought this boots for work they last three months. two months in the stitching a top of the boot came apart and I had chunks come out of the soles.I had to give 1 star thats the lowest rating they would let me do I would give this doots 0 stars.

As a forester required to wear safety toe boots, these boots are an excellent combination of comfort, safety and reliability. I have struggled to find boots that are both comfortable for all day walking in the woods and meet the safety requirments. These boots are the most comfortable boots I've owned. The construction of the boots is typical Danner quality and appears as if they'll last the abuse I put boots through. Although epxensive, you do get what you pay for!

One of the best (if not the best) outdoor workboot

I reviewed work boots on-line for weeks before choosing these. Boy, did I hit the jackpot w/these. I have plantar faciitis, flat feet, etc...nary a single twinge of pain/discomfort while wearing these boots climbing ladders, stomping in the mud, lifiting and man-handling heavy stuff, standing for hours raking...
The support is unbelievable and the are as comfortable as wearing slippers. I always put top-of-the line inserts in my shoes/boots...not in these boots...wouldn't dream of it... Fuuny, but I had to double-check the fact they had steel toes - I couldn't feel them! (That was a first.)
Stood in mud for single hours every day, over several days and these boots did not leak.
These boots are so easy to get on and off and quickly and are very light weight...your legs will not get tired - from wearing these boots.
Bottom line - so far so good (actually excellent).
Now, will just have to see how they hold for the next year.
Last, I have medium width foot, size 12. I ordered the boots in 12, EE. Unless your foot is narrow, go EE which will fit a tad wider than medium.
I will only order the Danners with fatigue fighter foot beds fron now on! Thank you Danner and Cabela!
