Bought these boots because the fit very well and the manufacturer has a good reputation. After 8 months both soles are starting to separate and the stitching on both heels if coming out. They also soak up water like a sponge, for the money I am very disappointed in the manufacturing and durability. I am 6'6" and normally very hard on footwear but these set a new record for a waste of money!

Got these on sale. Great fit (my feet run wide) no break in. They came with Danner's "Fatigue Fighter" insoles. Have worn them for short hikes, snow removal, no issues. A great buy!

What I expect from Danner

I am always nervous about buying online without trying something on....however, when I took these boots out of the box and put them on it was like they were made for me. Sizing was right on and these are one of the most comfortable boots I have ever owned. If you are thinking about getting these, do yourself a favor and do it! I bought the brown ones and I am thinking about buying the black ones just because they are so comfortable.
I wear these at least 10 hours a day every other day and they are great.
