Cabela's 8" Roughneck™ GORE-TEX® Moc-Toe Work Boots

  • GORE-TEX linings
  • Long-wearing Goodyear welt construction
Long-wearing Goodyear welt construction allows for sole replacements and extends the life of the boots. Full-grain, waterproof leather uppers withstand abuse day after day. 100% waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX linings form a barrier against rain and standing water. Moisture-wicking linings draw perspiration away from the skin for dry comfort. Oil-resistant, nonmarking rubber outsoles have a surface-gripping, yet shallow tread pattern that won't pick up excess mud. Removable, polyurethane footbeds add exceptional cushioning. Imported.

In the past I have had good luck with the wear of these boots, but the last pair I had did'nt last. The soles seperated within six monts of use. I don't under stand why thes boots would get more exspensive, yet last half as long.

Had these boots 2 months and the sole seperated on the toe. Since Cabelas has guarantee sending them back for another pair hopefully next pair will last longer. If they don't then will upgrade to the S.A.W. pair. Seems they took a little longer to break in than usual. Wish Cabelas had a maybe for if you would recommend something.

A dollar a day!

Great shoes if you want to pay a dollar a day for your footwear. Let me explain myself: I have had my boots less than 3 months and they look like they have been drug behind my truck that whole time. The leather exterior scuffed off like a cheap veneer, the lacing on the Moc toe has begun to unravel and worst of all they are not even comfortable... the shoes require separate insoles to be bearable. I would not recommend them...

real work boots

I work for a city dpw and these boot stand up to all from blacktopping, water leaks, sewer leaks, and standing water.
I have wore these boots for the last three summers, I live in Michigan so they are my summer boots. I can't ask for better boots for work. they are light, to wear for 8 plus hours and you can stand in 6 in of water for hours with dry feet. i've had no type of sole split after hard use so I think they are the best boots for the money you can buy. but don't let the price fool you. these boots are for real!!! I'm just now going to get my second pair.
