Carhartt® Arctic-Weight Coveralls

When the temperature plummets and there’s work to be done, zip on rugged arctic weight coveralls from Carhartt. The arctic weight insulation uses high-loft polyester fibers to tap maximum amounts of warmth on those frigid days. The 12-ounce, 100% ring-spun cotton duck withstands the abuse of the field and is treated with a water-repellent finish to shed rainwater and moisture from windblown snow. The polyester midweight lining is covered in 100% nylon quilting for a comfortable feel and elimination of cold spots. The two-way leg zippers open to the waist and are equipped with snap closures. And these coveralls are bar-tacked at all stress points for added durability. Imported.
Sizes: 34-58.
Inseams: 28", 30", 32".
Color: Carhartt Brown.
Carhartt Style No.: X02.

Terrific but they run small and long
Date:
Heavy-duty, well made and very, VERY warm. They are heavy canvas and take a while to break in but they are quality work wear.
My one concern is that the zipper seems lightweight, not of the heavy construction I would have expected. However, it hasn't broken.
These run long. I am 6'2" and that's mostly legs, but even so, the "regular" length was generous, and even a big on the long side; I can't imagine what the "tall" would be like.
They also run small through the chest and gut. I'm normally a 44 chest but the 46 chest on these fits pretty snug.

Too Big!
Date:
These are great coveralls, but the size chart is way off. Ordered right off the size chart and I can swim in them! I'm 6' 1", 190, 42" chest. Ordered a 46 Tall. Chest size appears right (wearing over clothes), but there is at least 3" extra in the legs. I'm returning them.

Quality
Date:
I've owned a pair of these for a couple years now. The are very well made, durable, and warm. I bought them to hunt and scoop snow with. It turns out, they are just too warm to do that. I even went out to scoop snow when it was -13 F with a 20+ MPH wind and after about 15 minutes I had to lay down in a snowback with the front zipper unzipped all the way to cool off. I took them hunting in +8 F with a stiff wind and that didn't work so well either. I was sweating like crazy with all zippers unzipped. But if you're doing light activity, they are just awesome. With a good pair of boots, you can comfortably sit in a snow drift all day with these things.
As for durability, I think you could run through a barb wire fence and not scuff these things. They are made of very heavy cotton duck. And when I say heavy, you can take the term literally. They must weigh 10 lbs.
They have quality zippers from foot to hip covered by snaps so they never freeze up.
.I don't ice fish, but these coveralls would be ideally suited for it. I usually just wear them (unzipped) when I go sledding with the kids or any time we're playing in the snow. They do seem to resist water a bit better than my lightweight coveralls.
I love these coveralls. You will also. Just don't expect to be comfortable doing heavy activity with them, unless you live somewhere much colder than Nebraska.

You have got to be kidding!
Date:
Do not order by waist size as recommended. Could not get into as zipper too short. Very expensive to ship back. Not all shipment papers enclosed in package. Suggested to look in another package, as the order consisted of mutiple packages.
