Cabela's Full-Grain GORE-TEX® Insulated Wellingtons

These long-wearing Wellingtons feature tough full-grain leather uppers so they can take everything your job demands. A 100% waterproof GORE-TEX® bootie completely surrounds your foot, shielding it from rain, snow or standing water. A moisture wicking liner keeps feet dry by wicking perspiration away and releasing it through the breathable GORE-TEX® membrane. Insulated with 400-gram Thinsulate™ Ultra insulation for additional warmth without bulk. Vibram® sole resists acids, oils and grease. Goodyear welt construction. Imported.
Men's sizes: 8-13, D and EE widths. Half sizes to 12.

My grandfather was a Wellington man; bless his soul, a real Texan and a foreman on the Ferguson Ranch. Now I am of age to get serious about a boot that is comfortable, can stand-up to weather, and most importantly easy to put on in a hurry. Well shame on me for waiting so long to get a pair because I really like the ones I just received. I read all the good and the few not so good reviews regarding the sizing issues and the good far out weights any issues. However, I do thank those who caution me about going wider a couple of sizes from D to EE. By going to EE and the normal half size longer than my street shoes, which I normally do with my boot, I could not ask for a better fit. Thank you for the advice both good and not so good. My only added suggestion would be to carefully cut out the cloth labels and tags inside the boot to provide added comfort. I found that once you do there is no rub issue. I found these boots to be comfortable right out of the box and also comfortable to wear all day .The Gore-Tex and insulation were great outside in the snow or slush and even after hours of wearing inside no sweaty feet was nice also .

Rugged Comfort!

Working outdoors and heading into the winter, I wanted a slip on that I could wear to and from the site and slip on and off easily when I needed to change into my work boots. These boots are it! Although they are stiff at first, once broken in, about one week, they feel awesome. They have kept me warm and dry while going to and from and they look dang good too. I do not doubt they will last me a long time as well. After a month of wear, they still look new.
