Cabela's WindShear™ Legacy Microfleece Henley

When layering hunting clothes, it's often hard to find a go-between shirt that is cool enough to keep you from sweating under heavy coats, yet warm enough alone to take the chill out of blistering winds. Worn alone or under a vest or heavy coat, these shirts will keep you comfortable throughout the year. The shell fabric is 100% polyester microfleece with a special high-performance WindShear™ lining fabric that blocks wind, yet breathes to let perspiration vapor escape. This laminate-backed lining keeps you dry and comfortable when you're hunting in less than desirable conditions and increases the garment's insulation value without significantly adding weight or affecting its fit. An antimicrobial finish keeps you smelling fresher longer. With its napped exterior it delivers all of the critical close-range silence hunters have come to expect from fleece. And it's lightweight, warm and quick-drying to ensure you stay comfortable through a variety of conditions. The Henley has traditional styling and a three-button front for ventilation. Imported.

Sleeve Design

I bought this shirt about 2 years ago and have finally given up trying to wear it. It is a great shirt, and a favorite for layering, but the sleeves/underarm are way too tight. I am a medium thru the chest, but always order large to allow for one or two layers (tech silk/mtp mid weight). This area of the shirt needs to be redesigned with either Raglan sleeves or gussets to allow more arm swing. I am now looking at a similar Cabela's product to replace this otherwise great shirt. If the new garment has the same problem, I will look at other brands.

Works great as a thermo layering during hunting and even alone in the camp. Windproof 100%.
Bought one size bigger (thanks to customers reviews) and wasn't disappointed. Wish the collar would be more tight.

This is an excellent shirt for layering. It is one of the best I have had and is well worth the money. Make sure you order it a least one size bigger because they run small. I'm a 2XL and had to go to a 3XL to be comfortable. I wish they were made a little bigger!
