Columbia’s lightweight Omni-Heat thermal-reflective technology efficiently retains body heat, yet adds virtually no bulk to the jacket. Its quiet, cotton-like polyester/elastane Omni-Tech® waterproof, breathable shell is seam-sealed for maximum wet-weather protection. It’s perfect for over-waders wear. The storm hood is adjustable and removable, and has a ball-cap brim for maximum effectiveness. A relaxed fit and radial arm gusseting provides extreme mobility for fast crossing and full-extension overhead shots. There are six zippered security pockets (including a watertight pocket), two hook-and-loop cargo pockets, 12 front shell pouches and two quick-load tubes for instant ammunition access. Compatible with Columbia’s zip-in Interchange System liners (liner not included). Imported.

Pockets too small / Too short

Received the jacket as a gift and had to return it. I liked the fitting hood and the MAX-4, but the hand warmer pockets were far too small, and I don't have big hands by any means. Also, the jacket was way too short. I know it's meant for wading, but the thing rode up half way up my back. Making it a little longer with a draw string would be ideal. Hoping they'll improve on the next model.

Less bulk is great but not as warm as their previous jacket. There previous jacket cost about the same but you had a liner to go with it, this one does not so you need to layer up prior. OK if you are walking or doing some physical activity but sitting in a deer stand/duck blind maybe a challenge in keeping warm.
Pockets size maybe great if you are a kid but my hands have to squeeze in without gloves. Love the new hood/brim because it fits the head and sheds water better. The best part of Columbia jackets is that is has a lifetime warrenty on water proof.
