I bought this item as a gift for my father. Overall construction seemed to be well done for years of abuse. My father particularly liked the large face to be able to easily read the time. I was also pleasantly surprised by the magnifier over the date on the face.

The Wenger Swiss Military Field Watch looks great. Better than depicted in the catalog photos.
More important, I set it to Nat'l Bureau of Standards time when I received it two weeks ago and it remains dead on. Hasn't gained or lost a second. This purchase was to replace an identical watch lost in a fire. It too was a great time keeper.
