luminox dive watch

I've taken this watch into some serious wipeouts while surfing. It's easily visible in low light conditions and comfortable to wear. It was a little expensive for what I wanted, but it feels like a watch that will last for a long time.

poor choice
Date:
I have had this watch for about 5 years it has spent more time at factory. I did like the hands and numbers, for when you get into the woods before daylight. I tried to use this watch for everyday use but it got caught on eveythig. broke the face and the hands twice 100.00 to get it fixed both times. It has been about 2 years now from the last fix the second hand pause and jumps about 5 sec. at a time I think it is the battery but I've had other watches last alot longer. for the money and no warrenty this very poor choice. I feel I gave it a fair chance and money. I could have bought 5 watches of my old brand and still have money left over.

Luminox SEAL Dive Watch
Date:
I bought this watch for diving and everyday use. The watch itself was kind of chunky but I didn't mind. It performed well underwater and was easy to read thru a face mask; the tritium was very bright. The band was disappointing because it was constantly trying to come loose. Finally I tried to take it off one handed after diving and it slipped off my wetsuit and fell on a big rock. When I picked it up and looked at it, the second hand had come off the spindle and was rattling around loose in the watch. I would buy this watch again if it had a metal clasp bracelet but not the rubber strap."
