Casio Solar Atomic Pathfinder Watch
- Automatically updates six times daily from atomic clock signals
- Includes digital compass, altimeter, barometer and thermometer
- Countdown timer and stopwatch
A feature-loaded, state-of-the-art wrist instrument that goes far beyond being designed as a wristwatch. Multiband atomic timekeeping calibrates six times a day automatically by receiving signals transmitted by atomic clocks in the U.S., United Kingdom, Germany and Japan. The digital compass measures a full 360° in 1° increments. An internal altimeter measures altitude from -2,300 feet to 32,800 feet in 20-foot increments. It stores a record of up to 40 altitude measurements, including high- and low-altitude memory along with cumulative ascent and descent memory and altitude tendency and differential graphics. The internal barometer displays pressure in hPa and in Hg and shows atmospheric pressure tendency and differential graphic. There’s also a thermometer that measures temperatures from 14°F to 140°F. Water-resistant to 100 meters. A fully automatic EL backlight with Afterglow makes viewing at night easy. The World Time feature keeps track of time in 29 time zones (30 cities) with city code display and the option to have daylight saving time on or off. Additional features include five daily alarms; a countdown timer you can set from 1 minute to 24 hours; a 1/100-second stopwatch that measures elapsed time/split time/first- and second-place times; calendar is programmed until 2099, and 12- or 24-hour formats. The CTL1616 storage battery augments the unit’s solar power and will run up to five months without exposure to light.
