These watches have earned the Outfitter designation. A solid stainless steel case and a push-pull crown with a double O-ring seal ensures toughness, water resistance and durability under even the most adverse conditions. Four o’clock crown position with machined crown guard for added comfort. Water-resistant to 100 meters. Super Luminova (a patented highly luminescent material) on hands, hour marks and the 12 o’clock guide mark allows for easy low-light viewing. Mineral-glass crystal is ultraclear and scratch-resistant. Imported.

So I have actually gone through two of these watches. For Christmas I got the SS version with the blue face. I really like the look and style of this watch and figure being \u201cCabelas\u201d brand it should be good quality. So the first watch worked for literally 3 minutes when I got it and stopped. I took it to a jeweler to get the battery changed and he said it was very corroded inside and wasn\u2019t sure if it would continue to work. Sure enough it died 10 hours later. Not surprisingly Cabelals was excellent about exchanging it and sent out a new one that was at my house within a week. The new one seemed to work well. Then today (11 days later) I looked at my watch and realized the second hand was acting funny. After a shake I realized that the second hand has come loose and just spins freely! The watch still keep time, but the second hand just flops around. Cabelas has agreed to give me store credit toward something else. But I just can\u2019t believe how poor this watch is or how bad luck I must have had!

Durable Watch

I got one of these as a present almost four years ago. I used it for for work at the ranch, for hog hunting the swamp, at the range once a week and even put it under the surface of saltwater and it still hasn't broken on me yet. It's a good watch and a real beaut! I don't use it much anymore, but it's still my favorite watch. Battery still hasn't run out yet either!

Scratch Resistant Not

I loved the looks of the watch and the SS band. I was serching for a plain watch with a scratch resistant crystal. After only 2 days of wearing the watch doing normal activities such a gardening and wood working the crystal had several noticeable scratches.
Cabela's very graciously accepted return of the watch, credited my account less shipping but they paid the shipping on the return.
A good watch at a good price for a man that is not very active.

This watch was purchased for my husband for everyday use and is a replacementv watch. He works outdoors in the elements. The feature he likes best is the large dial with numbers - easy to read. The only complaint would be that the watch is too thick (sits up to high) and tends to catch on equipment. However, overall, very pleased with purchase.
