Cabela's Dry-Plus® Grey Reef Drifter Wading Jacket Regular

Inspired by the Cowboy Drifter Guides of the Platte River in Wyoming, this unique jacket is loaded with fly-fishing conveniences. Tough, 100% waterproof fabric incorporates a breathable Dry-Plus seam-sealed membrane. Preformed sleeves are made for casting, while neoprene cuffs keep water out. Large waterproof chest cargo pockets along with four zippered waterproof pockets keep equipment at hand. Plus, there are fleece-lined handwarmer pockets with spaces for optional heat packs.YKK® zipper and adjustable hood, waist and cuffs ensure a secure fit. D-ring on neck back for net attachment. Best Looking Cabela's "Dry Plus" Wading Jacket

I have been buying Cabela's "Dry Plus" Wading Jackets since 1994; but this is certainly the best looking one. I just got mine today and had to try it on. I bought an X-Large and it fits me perfectly; but I wonder why this jacket is not lined on the inside. My other five Cabela's Dry Plus Wading Jackets are all lined on the inside. Retired now and living on the Kenai Peninsula for over ten years, I do a lot of fly fishing for wild, native Arctic Char, Salmon, Rainbow Trout and the Steelhead Rainbow Trout. So every year my gear gets real heavy usage. I shall reserve final judgement on this jacket's function only after the Fall Steelhead Rainbow Trout run is over. I do like the "stealthy color" of this wading jacket which is more olive than the beige depicted online and in the catalog.

ATTRACTIVE RAIN PARKA

Just received this NEW Rain Fly Fishing Parka. On close view this seems to satisfy my objective - a great price, lightweight, full rain protection, nicely sized for confort over layering, neoprene hand guards, with handwarmer pockets. Only thing missing is a loop/velcro tang for holding fly rod. Two main large pockets can hold large fly boxes nicely. Additional four zippered poclkets are a plus for storage. My future review will provide more info on it's usage in inclement weather. As a SW Fly Angler of over 50 years, I have felt that this item is worth consideration for wading in fresh or salt waters.
