The Best
Date:
The best wading boots I've ever used. Period. Comfortable and highly durable. The lacing system is super simple and makes me wonder why I didn't do away with laces sooner. Most comfortable boots I've ever owned. Light weight and the interchangable soles are so nice when I want to switch from felt to studded rubber.

Great Boots
Date:
I purchased a pair of Chrome boots last year and I never had the soles come off in sand or muck. The only flaw if you can call it a flaw, is after getting them wet you need to tighten up the lacing system. Just a little movement while tightening the boot works better than trying to reef them down on the first try and possibly breaking them. They are one of the best boots I have owned and I've had a few!

Disappointing
Date:
Good foot support. But interchangeable soles come off periodically when wading through deep sand or much, which inevitably happens where I fish. After 10 wearings, the clinch system on my right boot broke--the plastic receiver for the screw on the outer knob snapped out. I'd stick with laces.

Great Boot!
Date:
I've worn the boots for 8 days of fishing and they're really comfortable even compared to my older Korkers.
The BOA lace system is GREAT, but I had a few issues with it. The tongue wouldn't loosen up enough to easily insert my foot and the wire insert on some of the lace guides were coming out. I had a couple of lace guides that the wire was stuck not allowing the tongue to open which was corrected by running the wire lace back and forth. The wire insert can be moved back easily by pushing on it with your thumb nail.
