Simms Flats Sneakers- Great Product

I just returned from a week of fishing the flats in the Bahamas- I wore these daily and was extremely impressed. Great support, good traction and very comfortable - they handled the variety of soft and hard sand and coral quite well.
Use Simms wet wading socks with these and roll the top of the sock over the top of the sneaker to serve as a gravel guard.
Simms gear is always tops.
Use them as intended and you won't be disappointed.

bulky and stiff

A poor design poorly executed -- soles are utterly inflexible with no arch support, treacherous on rocks and impossible to wear for any distance walking. The uppers are multilayered, bulky and stiff. The padded tongue prevents lacing them up. They take 3 full days in sun to dry out.
I am sorry I bought these. They will last a long time because I won't be wearing them again.
