Cabela's Ultimate Hunting Chest Waders – Stout

The entire outer layer of our stout Ultimate Hunting Wader is now made with Armor-Flex™, a material that is as tough as steel without sacrificing the stretchability, superior fit and freedom of movement neoprene provides. Armor-Flex actually combines the tough, durability of nylon by weaving stretch lycra and the 1,000-denier nylon, truly the best of both worlds. The neoprene straps are contoured to conform to your body. And the no buckle suspender system stays out of the way when shouldering your gun. A specially designed chest pocket serves as a place to warm cold hands and contains a separate pouch for shells and other hunting accessories. The 5mm neoprene construction keeps you dry and incredibly warm in the coldest conditions. Inside the boots, a layer of 1,000-gram Thinsulate™ Ultra insulation traps your body’s natural warmth, keeping your feet toasty in ice-cold water. Bob-cleated outsoles bite into the thickest and softest mud for exceptional traction. Imported.

I used these chest waders throughout the end of 2011-2012 Duck season. This wader is easy to get into and to move around in, moves with your body! I never got cold in these waders. They are durable and well manufactured!!! Great Buy!!

I am beginning to wonder if any company makes a reliable chest wader anymore. They all seem to produce products that are often times defective. A friend and I were talking about waders the other day. I am 47 and he is 57. We have been hunting and fishing here in Iowa for decades. We have both had some quality chest waders over the years. A good pair would often last us 10+ years, and that was with hard use.
When I tried on Cabela's Ultimate Waders I was impressed with the fit. However, when I hit the water for spring walleye fishing, I was disappointed. The crotch area leaked right off the bat. I also had a smaller leak above the right boot. I am sending these back to Cabela's. I will try one more pair, but if I have anymore problems I will definitely buy from another company.

Great KOLD weather waders.

Absolutely love these waders, and would give them a FIVE STAR if they only came in felt bottom boots. Worn in low 30\u2019s fly fishing for salmon in Pulaski NY and never knew the water was so cold until I reached into the river.
Wide shoulder straps make it easy to wear all day, from sun up to sun down. Stout fit is great for us vertical challenged guys. Boots let you walk long distance without fatigue. You won\u2019t be sorry for buying these.
