Made of snag-resistant, 11-oz. Stonewall fabric with comfortable nylon suspenders for rugged, in-the-field versatility. Adjustable waist with side-release buckles, hook-and-loop game bag pouch, 4" bellows pockets, two zippered storage pockets and elastic shell holders. No. 5 YKK® zippers. One size fits most. Imported. Color: Tan.
Sustains: 1. Material used for the vest is strong providing deep pockets for whatever you wish. 2. Wide straps for distribution of weight. 3. Interior pockets for keys, wallet, license. 4. Came with wax to treat fabric.
Improves: 1. Nylon shell slots easily melt under heat so when treating your vest with wax ensure to shield them from any heat source. More of an FYI than improve. 2. Waist belt was too large at the smallest setting. 3. No chest strap and the back bird pouch doesn't ride high enough on the back to maintain both straps which can slip if not properly weighed down in the pockets. Or if your pockets aren't evenly weighed down you will notice on the straps. Something you probably wont notice until well into your hunting day as shells are used.
Overall pleased with the vest, given what I paid for it and how I use it.
Im a 40 reg/large jacket and this vest is huge. Only adjustment is strap length. No way to adjusts waist except in or out 2 in. I tried it on with my hunting coat and shells and it's a sloppy fit at best. Going back- bummer price was right.
Good, strong material, excellent zippers, pockets are nice and big for that water bottle, sandwich and remote. It also strikes me as light-weight given the heavy waxed materials.
Now the bad:
I did not get the tan/brown color shown in the picture. Mine is a dark, dark brown.
Bird pocket has velcro and snaps on the top to keep it shut, but it still does not feel strong enough. A zipper here would have been good. I am afraid it may come open. Safety pin? ;-)
