Cabela's Cool Mesh Upland Vest

Light weight and easy-breathing capabilities make this the perfect vest for early-season hunts or hunting in warmer climates. But make no mistake, the poly/cotton blend material (Blaze Orange is acrylic) is tough enough to handle the briars of a plantation hunt or all the prickly vegetation encountered while stalking desert quail. An inside mesh lining keeps cool air circulating around the body for the warm-weather comfort you need to keep hunting all day in hot conditions. A roomy zip-open game pouch with a bloodproof lining can be loaded from the front or sides. Two bellows pockets can be expanded to make room for extra shell boxes or gear. Six covered elastic shell holders on each side. Imported.

Bought this vest on sale for use dove and rabbit hunting. It is the usual Cabela's quality. However, I don't care for the design of the pockets. I would prefer openings behind and shell loops inside; not shell loops on the outside and no opening behind the pockets. Also for what it is, this vest is way overpriced. Luckily when I purchased, it was heavily discounted.

Great Warm weather Vest

We have been using these vests on our hunt club for over 10 years. They are dependable, sturdy lightweight vests that have stood up very well. The only time I've had to buy anew one in that time period is for a new employee. Well worth the money.

I Love This Vest!

I bought this in Blaze to replace one I purchased from Cabela's nearly 20yrs ago. My son now uses the old one.
I used it grouse and deer hunting this year without a hitch. It is quiet, roomy, and not too hot in warm weather.
It has decent storage also. Between this vest and my MT-50 parka I rarely need a back pack.
