Pursuing sharptails across the plains, quail through the desert or partridge in the fields, these warm-weather upland pants are ready for the hunt. They're made of 100% cotton ripstop with plenty of cover-busting durability. Two slash pockets at the waist, two cargo pockets with zippers and two zip-close rear pockets. Reinforced ripstop in the seat and knees. Elastic loops on the bottom hems can be pulled tight to keep out debris. Machine washable. Imported. Sizes: 32-42. Color: British Tan.
I had been looking for some light weight hunting pants for the warmer (TN) months and decided to try these pants. Like the light weight rip-stop material, plenty of deep pockets, facing material is plenty tough for hunting through briars and brush. Pants are well made, very comfortable and fit true to size. Another great Cabela's product. Going to buy a second pair.
If you want a bullet proof upland pant don't buy these. If you want a comfortable, lightweight pant that can moderately protect you from briars get these pants. I wasn't too sure about the side zip pockets but they work well for my cell phone and car keys. If the pants had suspender buttons I would have given 5 stars.
These pants have everything and could be the perfect field pant if it weren't for their poor quality. I am a land surveyor working in the north central area of PA. I spend 90% of my time walking up and down mountains through various thickness of brush. These pants would truly meet and exceed my needs if it weren't for their poor quality. The nylon shell without question stands up to its reputation. I have yet to have this layer of pant tear on anything, including a barbwire fence. The nylon draw string on the legs is a huge plus, keeping out unwanted critters such as ticks. The pockets are generously sized. The only draw back is the lack of quality for the remainder of the pant. I have yet to have a pair last longer than 4 months and that is with constant sewing. It seems that tears just magically appear. I am now on my fourth pair and the only reason I keep buying them is I haven't found a replacement that fits my needs. One last thing buy one size larger than you would with jeans.
