Avoided getting any stickers in my legs as I walked in heavy brambles during recent quail hunts. The tops of my boots were lacerated, but not me.

Dry-Plus Chaps are really great

Got these chaps for a couple reasons:
1. I got tired of walking around in upland jeans that get soaked walking through wet grass and snow.
2. i wanted the flexibility to whip on and off my chaps while wearing whatever i want underneath-work clothes, regular jeans, etc.
I can hunt and go someplace after the hunt without walking around in upland pants.
The chaps in combination with regular jeans are lighter than most denim-based upland pants I own. I now can pack less pants for the hunt.
These chaps kept me dry and are rugged. I am able to slip my size 12 boot through the opening pretty easily due to the zip flares at the bottom. The inside barrier is slippery which also helps.
These chaps seem to aid in keeping my boots dry too.
I'm very pleased with the value and durability the Dry-Plus chaps bring for a reasonable price!!
