Good Upland Jacket
Date:
I am in constant search for the perfect upland hunting jacket. Not sure this is it, but I dont think the perfect one really exists. I think this is a good jacket. As some of the other reviewers indicated the sleeves dont breath well, but I have other jackets that do the same thing. Overall I am pleased with the jacket. Good pocket space, good access to the game bag. I really like the use of velcrow instead of smaps on the pockets and sleeves.
Overall I am pleased.

Excellent cold weather hunting jacket
Date:
This jacket has performed flawlessly for me. I have owned one for a year now. I do only wear it when it is cold and requires layering underneath. If It's warmer, I do go with another setup. As for the cold weather upland jacket its perfect. Tons of pockets, durable shell, well made. When its cold you should be wearing a baselayer/midlayer to transport the moisture off your body anyway.

good coat good value
Date:
In reading the reviews a number of buyers were concerned about the heat buildup with this coat.
The coat has vents in the arm pit area which can be opened with two way zippers. The coat is warm but this seems to help with any excess heat buildup while walking.
With all the pockets etc. its a great coat for hunting with dogs.

Nice jacket but doesn't breathe
Date:
This is a nice jacket but it does not breathe. The D-loops are perfect for strapping GPS and e-collar transmitter. Pockets are roomy, shell loops and front loading game bag function well. It may be water repellent but that doesn\u2019t matter because even on blustery cold days the inside of the arms and shoulders get soaked.
