Same old story
Date:
I remember the days of good wolverine boots, when they were not made in China. These boots are not comfortable at all. Like a previous review stated the heel does stick out too far. The sole is nice if it is not wet, these soles are very slick in wet weather.

Not Bad...
Date:
Very very comfortable. I exposed them to sand, caliche rock, and other harsh terrain. Have not yet exposed to water, but my feet did not sweat very much. They have an athletic shoe feel. Wore them three days in a row up to 16 hours each day.

good depending on conditions

First off the boots were really comfortable, lightweight. The heal sticks out a bit to far, it get hung up on rocky terrain, such as rock slides and such. The tread pattern performed really well on side hills on flat ground, in the mud, and it also gripped the rocks really.
The cons: I live and hunt on the west coast for the infamous blacktail, so needless to say we get a lot of rain! After a full day of hiking in the rain my feet were wet. I was not really sure if it was sweat or water, still my feet were wet! Where the boots are stitched together on the side is not a good place to marry two peices of leather together. After one day of hunting in a rock slide the thread finally let loose leaving a gap. finally when the heal became real wet it started to loose it expanded now my heel slides around a littel bit. I will continue to wear them because the tread design works great and even when they are wet there still comfortable and its almost like wearing a tennis shoe!
