Engineered for archers and gun hunters who like to cover ground, these boots are lighter than some athletic shoes. Excellent Lightweight Boot

These boots are excellent for their desired design - lightweight, comfortable, waterproof and tough wearing. I hunt in tough Australian conditions from mountainous terrain to sandy coastal regions - continuously using these boots for the last 6 years - and they are still performing - except the waterproof aspect has slowly diminished from wear and tear.
I can walk all day without feeling tired or experience discomfort on return to camp.
I thoroughly recommend this footwear as a lightweight mid strength boot for hunting or bushwalking.

When you put these on you will think you are putting on a pair of running shoes. Extremely light. I was originally concerned about ankle support...but put 10 miles on them in two days of turkey hunting and support was not an issue in any way. They gave my old skinny ankles plenty of support for hiking over terrain that ranged from muddy fields, knee high wet grass, gravel bars and quiet stalking through heavy riparian undergrowth. If you want to stalk this is the boot for you. If you need to cover some ground quickly this is the boot for you. Normally my legs are tired and wore out after about five miles due to boot weight...but not with these....I think I'll be covering a lot more ground during hunting season. One other item we had heavy rains and these boots not only kept my feet dry from the rain....but my feet did not overheat either. Good buy....strongly recommend.

Great Boot

After wearing a pair almost constanlty for over five years I'm just now ordering another pair.I noticed the price went up a little but that will not deter me, I punish boots year round and this boot has taken all I could dish out and I'm still wearing the old pair today.

nice boot

Nice boot. Light. I added a sports foot bed to make them more comfortable. The cordura nylon is nice for lightness, but not good for support on any terrain with any steepness. Foot rolled too much. Overall I enjoy these boots for their lightness. Only have used 1 season. So far, they are wearing well.
