Employing the traditional and most durable Goodyear® welt construction method with aggressive-traction rubber outsoles, the Calibers will keep you hot on the trail of your prey. With full-grain waterproof leather uppers reinforced with double-needle stitching and lined with GORE-TEX®, you’ll fear no soggy trek. High-abrasion rubber toecaps protect your feet against the known and unknown elements of uneven terrain. Tough but lightweight EVA midsoles provide all-day cushioning. Unique speed lacing system with brush guards allows quick entry and gives a complete lock-down fit. Imported.

The sizing was perfect. They fit like a glove right out of the box. They are beautifully constructed. They required very little break in time but the heel area is rigid so some break in is needed. I wore them scouting for elk in Colorado just a few days after receiving them. Hiked 12000 ft ridges and they remained comfortable all day. I have never worn a welted boot before and I will say they are a bit awkward compared to a cemented boot when walking off trail. The traction was great whether walking up or down steep inclines. My only concerns are the durability of the outsole in the toe. It is very thin. Also the lacing system on the forefoot is a shoelace material with metal grommets not metal eyelets They might pull out. Overall the boot is pretty awesome and I think it will last. They look cool. They will make a great general purpose boot and a hopefully a durable hunting boot.

They are expensive!

I have had the boots about a month. These are second pair because the first pair were too small. The sizing on them is not "boot" sizing. I had to go up a size from a 9 1/2 to a 10. The boots blistered my heel until I got them "broken in". They are stiff, not flexible. They are not light.
They seem to be good boots but nothing special. They are not worth the price although they are good enough and I am going to keep them. I wish however I had bought different boots.
