Built especially for the upland hunter, these wingshooting classics feature Danner's famous stitchdown construction for a wide, stable base and 100% waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX®. The full-grain leather/1,000-denier nylon uppers blast through cover, while the patented Danner Bob® outsoles grip almost any upland or bottomland terrain you'll encounter. Made in USA.

The US made Danners are by far much better than the others. This is my second pair of these boots and they are worth the money.

I have owned my Danner Grouse for ten years. Gortex worked as advertised. Awesome traction, comfortable and good support. Stitching is finally starting to go, I will most likely have them re-crafted as they are the best boots I have ever owned.

I own two pair of Grouse boots by Danner and they are by far the most durable and comfortable boots made! They are much better quality than the overseas manufactured Pronghorns which I also have a pair of. I just hope Danner doesn't thrown in the towel and move their entire line to overseas production. I also have a pair of their U.S. made Canadians which were very warm when we walked over fourteen miles in a freezing wind when my friend's jeep would not start in the high Uintas. U.S. made Danners are worth every penny!

I have a pair of these and was surprised when I saw them in the store. They were NOT the cheap import Danners that have been showing up everywhere, or at least the ones purchased in store were not. Complaints are the same as every Danner - laces run down to the tow making it easy for everything to get stuck in your laces and plan on buying more laces before the boots wear out. Word of advice: soles are very soft making them a great field boot but as a result wear down on hard surfaces very fast so beware of wearing them around town. There are better boots out there for cheaper prices but these are still good quality boots.
