Incredibly rugged and scuffproof black Tech-Tuff toes and heels guard vulnerable areas against wilderness hazards. Advanced stability and support are afforded by Terra-Force® platforms. Waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX® linings keep feet dry. Fatigue-Fighter™ footbeds deliver outstanding arch support. Ground-gripping Mountain Goat TF™ outsoles. Imported.

These boots are the best all-around hunting boots I have ever had, and I have had a LOT of hunting boots. I have hunted elk in near-zero weather, deer in the rain, and turkeys both in the Fall and Spring. There has not been one instance where I could have wanted more from a boot. After all, if your feet are comfortable, warm but not hot, and are dry, what more could you expect? If I live long enough to wear these out, I hope they will still have them so I can buy another pair.

They are NOT waterproof

These boots broke in easily and were very comfortable right out of the box. I was initially satisfied until I took them elk hunting and got them wet. They are NOT waterproof.
I would not recommend them to anyone hunting in wet climates or going on extended expeditions.

6" Pronghorn

I was so glad when Danner came out with this 6" Pronghorn. Its got a much beefier more aggressive outsole than the old one. I find this one to have a better over all fit to it than the old one also. The break in was quick and easy. I've had my pair for about 7 months now and I've taken them on an elk hunt up in northern AZ and a few archery deer hunts both in the forest and rough desert terrain. This boot handled all the punishment I've put it through great.
