Most comfortable boots ever!
Date:
This is my 2nd pair of Danner Pronghorn Classics. They feel like tennis shoes right out of the box, are completely waterproof, and can withstand severe conditions in the woods. I am a professional forester, plus a weekend landscaper, and I put my boots through the toughest conditions almost every day.
Cabelas and Danner are my boot company from now on!

Very comfortable boots
Date:
These boots were very comfortable right away. They broke in quickly. I can't wait for hunting season to roll around.

Much Like The Old Danners
Date:
These boot have served me well for over a year now. They are very similar to the old Danner Pronghorns. They are not fully waterproof but will hold up fine in damp grass ant the occasional step through puddles. Add a little snow seal and you have a pretty well sealed boot. If you are looking for a fully waterproof boot, try rubber boots (which of course are not comfortable for hiking). These boots are very comfortable and take minimal break-in. Only complaint is the style in sole makes re-soling not an option.

Most Comfortable Boots I've Ever Owned!
Date:
I bought a pair of Pronghorn Classic boots from the Post Falls, Idaho, Cabela's. I'd read the reviews and liked the looks of the boots, but I have trouble finding footwear for my wide feet, so I wanted to spend a few minutes wearing a pair. I thought at first I might not like the fact that the boots lack loops to help pull them on, but found that the laces are easy to loosen and the boots slip on with no difficulty. The boots required no break-in period. They are warm and waterproof. I walked several miles in six to eight inches of new snow; my toes stayed toasty and the tread pattern provided good footing over uneven ground. If you're going to be crawling around on your hands and knees, you might want to consider the Danner Pronghorns with rubber toe caps; I scuffed my Classics badly installing a new subfloor in an old cottage, but a bit of liquid polish and some wax brought the finish back to a nice shine. I've owned some very good boots in my time, never a pair better than these. They are the most comfortable boots I've ever owned!
