  • Strategically placed impact zones
  • Waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX

Shift into overdrive for fast-paced early-season stalks and hard-core hiking trips in the agile Pro 7" Hikers. The latest addition to our best-selling Outfitter Series lives up to the legendary tradition with the same rugged dependability you've come to expect from the name. Ankle-saving support and stride-cushioning comfort will be put to good use on those long days scouting new territory. Lightweight construction promotes a quicker pace when treading rugged terrain. Plus, these boots are loaded with a slew of comfort-enhancing features that the hunter can appreciate. The midsoles incorporate the Shock Absorbing Workboot (SAW) technology, which employs strategically placed impact zones in the forefoot and heel that soak up virtually 100% of ground shock. The GORE-TEX® Scent-Lok® linings don't need to be reactivated. All you have to do is allow the boots to air out after each use. The uppers are crafted of tough, generously oiled American leather with richly padded Bombardier leather collars. We then extended the lacing system farther out over the toes for even more support and stability. Plus, a Cabela's-exclusive Vibram® outsoles, with an innovative multidirectional tread patterning, grab tough terrain while releasing mud and snow. Uninsulated. Imported.

Cannot ask for a better boot
Date:
Been wearing these bad boys for months now... working, hiking and climbing. They are absolutely fabulous. Feet stay cool, don't slide around in them, no sore spots, perfectly waterproof and seem to be wearing slowly. The soles are soft and grippy without wearing excessively and the tread pattern is aggressive so there is great traction on everything. You will love these boots.

7" uninsulated Outfitter Pro
Date:
I love these boots and was cautious about buying them based on one of the reviews that says these boots are a foot ripper. But, since Cabela's has a great return policy I decided they were worth a try and I am very happy I did! These boots are very comfortable right out of the box. The leather is top quality and sturdy so the upper part (top) of the boots where it meets the upper ankle does require some break-in but I expected that. I wear these boots doing everything including going in to the office on casual dress days. The soles are very supportive and the vibram material provides good traction and long wear.
The bottom line is, if you want a sturdy, go anywhere do anything boot that has some style to it, the outfitter pro delivers. I am very satisfied!

Great Boots
Date:
Got these boots for general farming here in New Zealand and hunting. Nice fit out of box and comfortable footbed. Gave them a couple easy days on tractor work before thrashing them to much. The boots broke in really easy with no undue rubbing. Took them out last week for a Sika hunt and seems they are lucky to. Will have to see how they stand up to our farming conditions over here but at the price they are off to a good start.

To blister or not to blister
Date:
After extensive break-in and several hunts, the boots decided to blister my heel this past elk season. Wore same socks I have always used. Not impressed.
