Under Armour® Ridge Reaper Hunting Boots

Under Armour’s extremely lightweight Ridge Reapers are ideal mountain hunters. They are lined with 100% waterproof GORE-TEX®. Molded Ortholite® footbeds have memory foam on top and high rebound foam on bottom. Thermoplastic shanks and clips give enhanced arch support without the weight of steel. Unique speed lacing system with brush guards provides quick entry and a complete lock-down fit. Full-grain water-camo leather uppers are reinforced with double-needle stitching. Highly abrasion- and tear-resistant fabric from Schoeller® in the toe boxes for long-lasting wear. Fully contoured compression-molded EVA midsoles provide lightweight cushioning. Aggressive-traction rubber outsoles grip yet help shed mud and snow. ETC® anti-friction, moisture-wicking insoles reduce blisters and dry quickly. Soft, full-grain collar and tongue linings are durable and comfortable. Imported.

After breaking in the boots I took them on an extreme hike/bouldering experience covering over 8800 vertical feet in 13 hours. The terrain varied from dense tropical plants to giant granite boulder cliffs. Having this premium boot was a necessity, especially when my life depended on my footing. At the end of the day I was proud of my accomplished hike and my feet were astonishingly dry even after walking through streams all day.

This is an easy one. This is the best boot I have ever owned. Extremely comfortable, waterproof, after a few days no noise whatsoever coming from my boots. I have owned every boot under the sun and this one most definitely meets all of my expectations.

Great General Hunting Boot

Compared these to the new Pronghorn at Cabelas and bought these as they looked better made and they also fit me better. Always feel like my foot is swimming around in the PH's but the Reapers fit well.
I now have over 50 miles on them in mixed terrain and they have performed better than expected. My Pronghorn classics always give me blisters unless I tape my heels but the Reapers have been nothing but comfortable even right out of the box. They were a bit noisy until I got them broken in. Tested them walking thru a stream and wet grass with no leaks.
Overall a great boot. I would not use them in place of a mountain boot for high angle adventures but they are hard to beat for moderate terrain.

Super boot

Hours of walking the hills in Nebraska pheasant hunting. At the end of the day, these boots are still comfortable, no blisters, no foot/leg/hip fatigue. They have very firm ankle support and soles dont feel super soft making it feel like stalks shoving into your feet.
