The Shirt That Was
Date:
I bought 3 of these shirts about 7 years ago, wear them every week, and they still look and wear great. But from the reviews I read here, the quality has fallen off considerably, and the shirt that was in 2005 doesn't seem to exist any longer. The fact that this shirt hasn't even been reviewed since 2010 says something. Come on Cabela's, we're willing to pay the price for a great shirt ... so let's find a supplier to make it and recreate one of the best shirts EVER.
As it used to be made, this shirt blended comfort, fit, style, toughness, smart design and good looks all in one ... and I literally can't wait to get them back out of the laundry. Every other shirt I own is a disappointment by comparison.
So why, when for the past 3+ years, its' been clear this shirt needs to go back to what it was ... why hasn't it? People will pay top dollar for shirts this good, but only if they're given a chance.

Old model is better
Date:
I much preferred the heavier fabric weight and feel of the older model (made in Macau). I was appalled to see that the yolk is single. The curved seams are not flat felled. Inadequate construction. I predict that this shirt will not hold up as well as the previous model. The design remains good.

Great shirt - new pockets not so much
Date:
I have 5 of these shirts. My current favorite. The new ones had the sun glass pocket reduced from 3.5 inches to 3 inches and thus they are very hard to fit my sunglasses. Not really wrinkle free, but very comfortable and nice fit.

Not bad
Date:
Well, the shirt is not at all wrinkle resistant. I bought this shirt for an expeditionary walk from New Orleans to Chicago and it is keeping me somewhat cool. The pockets are great but would have been better if they had been sewed in, not on. Also, some waterproof pockets would be cool for future models, as what I have in them (cigarettes, papers, etc) get drenched in sweat. Overall, a nice looking shirt that could have been a few dollars cheaper.
