Based on other reviews, I guessed at the sizing. I'm a 34, and went with the large. Fits perfectly. I would go with the larger size if you're on the border.
Great quality, love it. Buying another in a different color.

Even though I wear size 38 pants, I had to opt for the XL belt as the L was just short.
Hope this helps as you will pay a return shipping fee on the exchange for a bigger size.

Pricy but extremely well made and versatile belt. Rigid but comfortable. Will still be usable long after the velcro wears out just by folding the extra length back thru the buckle. Primary purpose seems to be as a utility or gun belt designed to do more than just hold up your pants but, for now, that's enough.
