AS a former Army Ranger I ask and demand a lot from my equipment. The boots performed fine for the first 4 months or so. I put them through everything, snow, water, shale, sand, mud, etc. climbing 12,000' mountainsides in all manner of weather was a daily event for the boot. By the seventh month all the seems that were double stiched had FAILED. The boot was literally coming apart at the seems, everywhere, on both sides of each boot. In addition the tread on the boot had become rubber slicks. There wasn't any left. Danner only warranties the boot for the first six months (FYI) For a boot that is priced at over $150...I expect at least getting one year out of them. Like I said, they will be good at first, but with demands of pure punishment... they become worthless. I thought Danner would deliver a better product. I am super dissappointed and I want my money back.

great boots this will be my third pair my only complaint is the laces started to seperate way sooner on my second pair than the first but i will still buy again i am on my feet most of the day working outside year round usually in a wet enviorment and really like these boots
