Danner® Black Duty Commander Boots

Conquer rough ground with the light, comfortable 7" design which features a full GORE-TEX® lining, Vibram® Kletterlift soles with traction that rivals heavy lugs but will not accumulate mud and snow as badly. The Black uppers combine tough and durable full-grain leather with waterproof 1,000-denier Cordura nylon side panels for light weight and water-shedding ability. 200-gram 3M Thinsulate™ insulation keeps your feet toasty warm even in colder weather conditions. Cushioned midsoles and insoles, arch supports and a Cambrelle® lining guarantee a comfortable walk. Airthotic™ footbed included. Made in USA.

Great boots, but still squeaky

This is my 2nd pair of Danner boots. I purchased these about 3 months ago and I am very pleased with them except for the squeaking. The squeaks have decreased over the break-in time, and I'm confident that it will go away after they are fully broken in. Danner makes a great boot. They are comfortable, well made, and bad looking. Buy the boots, you will not regret it.

Great Boot

I work 12 hour shifts in law enforcement and have recently had a knee injury, These boots ofer the support needed for the long shift. I have also owned a couple pairs of the cabela's Danner hunting boots.Gortex-leather, lace to toe style and have been extremely pleased with there perfomance. The longivity of life and support on steep side hills is top notch.I do recommend the Cabela's Danner boots to all of my friends.

I own several pair(s) of USA made Danner Boots. make sure they are made in the United States. anyway, these are fabulous. all day great comfort, look real good, easy on and off. buy them

Danner Does it Again

I am a Baltimore City Police Officer who purchased these boots to fill the roll of Spring / Fall duty footwear. Took about 3-4 days to break in. The quality is exceptional. Sturdy hardware, thick soles, Shine well. Very similar to a set of Danner Acadia Boots which have been my winter footwear for over 15 years and still going! I'd expect these will last just as long. Only criticism is the green "Cabelas" tag. Since these are uniform boots, I wish the label was black. That said, it only took 30 seconds w/ a black magic marker to fix that. Great footwear. Highly recommend.
