Excellent feel, weight is tolerable and the zipper is well lets say untested as of yet. They are brand new and need broken in badly. The kneeling or crouch hurts the metatarsal /phlang area. It is winter here the boots seem to be holding up against heavy snow well. My biggest worry is the Zipper and apparently these boots cannot be re-conditioned soles rebuilt ect. It is also unclear from any of the information given with the boot concerning its apparent ability to protect against blood born pathogens, battery acid and all sorts of other EMS related goodies. I expect the best for what I paid; Danner needs to hold up its tradition of excellence.
