Casual cool-weather style combined with high-tech outdoor performance. These great-looking sweaters feature our WindShear lining, a high-performance, laminate-backed fabric that blocks out wind, but allows perspiration vapor and excess moisture to escape. This enhancement keeps you comfortably dry while preserving the insulation value of the garment. Made of naturally warm, shrink-resistant 100% wool. Sports a classic three-button placket and rugged twill elbow patches. Imported.

This is a great sweater. I can wear it outside for going down to the mailbox, which is 500 ft down the drive, when the weather is cold and windy without bothering to wear a coat. Excellent quality and the fit is fine.

great sweater

I purchased this sweater in 2009. I was a little worried about the wool being itchy. I soon found out that there is no problem. The sweater has a lining so the outer wool never touches your body. I wear tis under my parka all winter long for snowmobiling. I have been in Pittsburg NH (near the Canadian border) in the winter with the temps @ -30 with a wind chill of -60. Although my hands and feet were cold the core of my body was warm all day riding. I have also worn this skiing and it was actually too hot with a parka on top so i took the coat off. All in all a great purchase. 3 yrs old and it is still in great shape. I would definitely buy this product again

Excellent Sweater

Light, windproof, warm and rugged. The lining is a little noisy, but I like this by itself or layered with something over it when its colder. Nice for fishing on the Bay in the fall. Looks good, too!
