The unique blend of cold-weather comfort and athletic-shoe support makes the Alaskan Guide the choice of outdoor enthusiasts worldwide. 100% sheepskin uppers. The uppers are further protected by a 360° mud and slush guard built of abrasion-resistant rubberized material. The insides are fully lined with plush shearling sheepskin for incredible natural insulation when it’s cold and super moisture management when temperatures are warm. Compression-molded EVA midsoles are the same type used in high-performance athletic and hiking footwear. They provide stable, cushioned platforms for your feet. Nonmarking rubber outsoles with a self-cleaning tread pattern provide excellent traction. Imported.

I will keep these. As stated they are like wearing two bricks on your feet. I ordered a size 10 as I wear a 9 1/2, the tag says 10M. I had to put a DOUBLE thick insole into the sneakers plus the one they come with, never had to trim them and still felt way too roomy. I like the weather proof outer lining and the easy on and off after going to the garage or getting the mail. That's all I can think that they will be good for. They are nice and warm and will let me knock around the garage for awhile. I could drive the tractor with them but not the car.

Clunky but warm

Every time I wear these boots my feet go ahhh. they are warm and comfortable. They are clunky, but unique.
They're for doing chores about the yard and lounging, and keeping feet warm, I usually end up falling asleep in my chair with them on.

My wife purchased a pair of the Cabela's Alakan Guide Camo Sneakers for me. We have two homes and I proceeded to purchase another pair to have them at both places. I've since purchased a pair for my son and two son-in-laws. All of us really like them. They are warm, comfortable and easy to slip on and off. My son even wore them ice fishing! A GREAT purchase.

I read the reviews on this shoe in a different color, and they were well liked. I opened the box and they are huge and clunky. Slipping them on, ahhhhh, so comfortable and warm without socks. I took my dog for a walk around the neighborhood and was crippled by the most horrendous sole ever! There is a thin layer of sheepskin over a rock hard foot bed, with no design to fit to your foot. My feet hurt so bad, I limped for 2 days after. Shoes are being returned promptly. Great perhaps, if walking to the mail box is all you want from these shoes.
