Cabela's Recoil Pad - Right Hand

Take the punishment out of sighting-in your magnum rifle or shooting heavy shotgun loads. A soft recoil-absorbing polymer lessens recoil by 40% more than other pads and makes shooting a pleasure. A cotton pocket faced with a suede pad holds the recoil absorbent material and provides a non-slip surface for the butt of the rifle or shotgun. The rifle model is thick enough to handle large magnum calibers, while the shotgun model is thinner, so it won't effect length of pull. Easy strap-on design. Right-hand.

after having multiple right shoulder replacements i thought that i would never hunt again. then i saw the
Cabela's recoil pad in a catalog and decided to try it. i was amazed at how easy it was to put on..... and then i fired my shotgun and was really amazed at the level of protection that it provided for my shoulder. anyone who has need for protection of a shoulder joint would be crazy not to invest in Cabela's recoil pad. BEST MONEY EVER SPENT!!!!

Fine shooting accessory for my daughters

I got this for my daughters who are getting interested in skeet and sporting clays. They find it helps a lot in reducing the recoil. This is increasing their accuracy and enjoyment.
It can be a bit hard to get a good fit.

Bought two for trip to Argentina to dove hunt. Design flaw in that pad wants to go up above shoulder. It needs strape to hold down over impact area of shoulder/clavicle. Pad is not thick enough. Was shooting 20 gauge semi-automatic Beretta and still had TOO much recoil. First Cabela product to fail. Need design of the PAST shooting pad. Your pad is nice to photograph, but not for field. First product in thousands isn't bad but would improve. Thanks.
