If you like light weight vest with more pocket than your wife can fill and have room for your stuff also then this is the one to buy.

5.11 Taclite Pro Vest

I have two of these vests, and like them very much. Lots of pockets, comfortable, light, and durable. The only negative for me, I would prefer the concealed carry pockets to be up higher in the vest - just a little too low for me. I would still highly recommend this vest.
