I've had this for over a year now along with the matching bibs in vertigo grey. Very comfortable, warm, and quiet. I've hunted 15 degree weather in this with a base layer and one other shirt underneath and I was all good. Also - burrs don't stick too bad to it. I think all Scent-lok is over-priced, but I was happy to receive mine as a gift.
I've used this coat for several weekend hunts (a few that have dipped into the low 20s#. On those mornings, the ThunderTek layered with the Perfect Panel top and a t-shirt have kept me completely comfortable. The sleeves stay out of the way of the bow string, and it's very quiet on the draw. I tend to not like hoods either, so the zip off hood is a nice feature as well.
Overall very pleased. If I could give 4.5 stars I would... I only take off half a star because I'd have preferred they went with a more fleece-like materialed liner as they did in an older version of the ThunderTek #4x4 Quattro with a scent controlling Timberfleece liner), instead of the quilted non-scent controlling zip-out jacket that this parka has. Not a big deal though.
Buy it in one size larger than you normally would for other coats.
I have owned this jacket for about 4 years now, and I have absolutely no complaints! It has kept me warm on even the coldest of days. I have been out in four degree weather with 25 mph winds and snowing, and still was warm and toasty. It repels water excellently as well. Buy a size larger than you normally would in coats.
