The odor-containing technology of Scent-Lok teams with special camouflage fabric strips to make these garments so effective. The strips are constructed of cotton sheeting sewn to polyester mesh for complete ultralight concealment that won’t weigh you down, and Scent-Lok hides your scent from the sensitive noses of game animals. Each garment fits like standard hunting clothing. This jacket has a full-zip front for easy on and off. Full-hooded design for complete camouflaging. Two front slash pockets. Drawcord waist. Elastic cuffs. Imported. Sizes: M-2XL. Camo patterns:Seclusion 3D®, Mossy Oak® New Break-Up®.
Liked the jacket. The dye was lighter in color than the pants. Would have preferred to have the slightly darker dye lot. Too heavy for early season in the South.
I have had both of Cabela's TCS and Ghil-Leaf 3-D clothing products for approx. 4 years. They are both Scent-Loc versions, and therefore need to be put in the dryer to regenerate. Even though I thought the TCS clothing line had a little more effective 3-D camo when I first bought it, it is clear now that the Ghil-Leaf is a much superior product. The difference is that the TCS camo is made of cotton, where as the Ghil-Leaf is made of a synthetic material. The TCS camo has shrivaled and shrunk over time to a shocking extent, where as the Ghil-Leaf looks as good as the day I purchased it. May be this would not be the case if I did not have the Scent-Loc version, because I would always choose to line dry, if I had a choice. Both items are in the same camo pattern and got an equal amount of use, but Ghil-Leaf looks a whole lot better after extended use.
It is true about what others wrote about the other animals and birds not seeing you but for the durability of this expensive article along with the matching pants I must question if the money spent was worth all the problems that I experienced. First, wife had a big problem with the charcoal coming out of the jacket and pants and becoming lodged inside the fins of her new dyer. Then the material that got caught on weeds and the material ended up in the woods instead of on the suit. I got one leg of material shorter than the other and some of the jacket material is missing also. Does it work totally? So far the clothing tags say you can wash it but I am afraid to do so for the repercussion from the wife and what is left or expect to see from the washing and drying process. Maybe go to a washing mat. One more thing, it kept me warm in the cool temperatures due to the thickness and weigh of suit.
