Equipped with 150-gram Thinsulate™, upper handwarmer and removable hood, this weatherproof parka is ideal for cold-weather hunts. Pockets have snap-close storm flaps with zippers behind. Large cargo pockets have shell loops inside and handwarmers behind. Velcro-adjustable cuffs. Special optics pocket inside storm flap. Scent-Lok scent-adsorbing technology reduces game-spooking human odors. Imported.

Very Warm. Very Noisey. Would be fine for someone hunting field edges with a rifle which would be a long ways away from their game. Scent Lok works great. Love the pockets. I'm 5'8 170lbs and ordered a large which fits great through the shoulders but around the belly it's way too big unless you tighten the drawstrings. 2 way zipper is nice for comfort while sitting.

Blaze Horizon Scent Lock Parka Dry Plus is Loud

Dissapointed in the noise, does makes a velcro like sound when brushiung against objects.Trees with rough bark makes it game spooking loud.
Jacket is warm and comfy plenty of pockets though.
Better for the hunter who hunts game from a distance

Tried the jacket for 2 days in a tree stand. Every move sounded like I was velcroed to the tree. Jacket was warm, pockets were good. Just way to much noise when you move.

great coat

I have had one of these coats for several years. It is very warm, warmer than you would think by the amount of insulation. Maybe the Scentlock lining helps. The Dry plus is truly waterproof and more importantly wind proof. The blaze camo has no UV glow whatsoever, in fact it just looks dark under a black light. I have had no deer spook from it and have had some right under my treestand on several occasions. It is very quiet ( a slight rustle against pine bark the only sound is has ever made ) . I liked it so well I bought the matching bibs.
