My brother told me about these sandals so I tried a pair...I had not idea. They are great! I can stay in them all day with out a problem. Hiking and even out to dinner. I am like a little kid with his first pair of rain boots.

Ultimate Shoe for Doing Whatever
Date:
I bought a pair of these Keen Newports about 5 years ago. They are getting some age on them now, but are still kicking and we have had a lot of life and good times together. I've hiked miles of trail, gone on long runs, waded many a river, kayaked many a lake, and more in these shoes. They are the ultimate shoe to just strap on in the morning, and then go do absolutley anything outdoorsy in warm weather and not worry about your feet, because the Keen can handle it. Water? No problem. They dry out quickly. Think you need specail hiking boots for the trail? These work great and you dont have to take them off to cross streams and rivers. The only downsides are that the ocasional pebble gets inside the shoe and you have to pick it out, and dust will find its way into your toes, toenails, and make them look kinda grubby... so don't take them off if you're on a date. Then again, if you want to run her off, your grubby toes will be easily accessible with the amazing Keen. Mine are getting old, and did notice an odor issue begin last summer, and less water-proof-ness. We will see how they hold up this season, but I've abused them for years, and all in all, these are amazing, super quality, long lasting footwear for outdoorsy people like me.
