Up top, the tough, waterproof leather uppers on the Newport provide a rugged external framework that will stand up to a wide range of punishing environments but remain open enough to stay cool. The inside of the leather sports soft, hydrophobic foam linings that have been treated with an Aegis™ antimicrobial treatment for odor-fighting comfort. Keeping the uppers tight and secure, the quick-lock lace system cinches down evenly over your arch for optimum security. Down below, the soles cradle your feet with an anatomic, extra-wide footbeds whose comfort and security are steps beyond the ordinary. The footbeds have an Aegis™ antimicrobial treatment for additional fungal defense. Precise, knife-cut siping on the nonmarking outsoles make wet-weather traction reliable and consistent, and the carbon-rubber lug soles are a multiterrain wild card that cruises effortlessly through rock, mud and other challenging conditions. Comfort comes easy with the shock-absorbing EVA midsoles, while the patented toe guards make toe injuries a memory. The Newports have 3M™ reflective pull loops on the back. Imported.
