Danner® 8" Super Quarry™ 2.0 GTX® Nonmetallic-Toe Work Boots

Super Quarrys are an even more comfortable version of Danner's famous Quarry work-boot design. Their puncture- resistant Armour Flex II midsoles and nonmetallic safety toes meet or exceed ASTM F2413-05 I/75 C/75 EH standards. With full-grain leather uppers and all-around abrasion-resistant rubber rands, these boots are made to last. Their supportive steel shanks and Fatigue Fighter footbeds guarantee all-day comfort. Self-cleaning, oil-resistant Vibram Olympia outsoles. Imported.

I work and manage a truck tire retread plant, and I'm on my feet 10-12 hour days on concrete!!! These boots are a little heavy, but are top-notch in the comfort department. Its hard to find good boots, especially with steel shanks. Danner boots are absolutely the best there is! Well worth the money!

I waited 3 months of back order to get these boots and received them in January this year. Nice looking boot, but don't try walking on snow or ice with them (my cowboy boots get better traction. no joke!)!! I waited till spring to wear them & after 6 weeks my left boot leaked when just standing in a half inch of water! Within the next 2 weeks my right boot started to also leak. The plastic like rough material on the front & sides of the boot also started to come off. It would tear loose from the stitching. Do yourself a favor and stay away from these Danners! If it happened to only 1 boot I would think it was a lemon, but it is happening with both boots, so I would say design & craftsmanship.
