Cabela's Steel-Toe Work Hikers

The rugged look and all-terrain performance of sleek, comfortable hikers combined with the tough-as-nails durability of ASTM-certified steel-toe work boots. Full-grain nubuck uppers blend with waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX membranes to keep feet comfortable and dry. Padded, gusseted, all-leather tongues deliver stray-spark protection on the job site. Ultraflexible, dual-density EVA midsoles absorb ground shock, while the removable Ortholite® footbeds cushion your every step for all-day comfort. Reinforced rubber toe and heel guards for abrasion resistance. Ground-biting Asystec® rubber outsoles with specially designed lateral side lugs enhance braking and improve traction. Steel shanks provide optimal balance and heel-to-toe stability. Steel toes are ASTM C/75 I/75-certified. Imported.

Excellent Work Boots

I work in the telecommunications industry, and for the past 10 yrs I have always worn Red Wing brand steel toe boots. Wanting to try something different and a little cheaper I purchased these. They meet all requirements and are by far the most comfortable work boots I've owned. It feels like you are wearing sneakers. Lightweight, the top of the boot flexes very well with your foot, not like stiff leather. The inside toe is not crampy, even for a wide foot like I have. Although, the lighter brown section of the boot is actually a little darker than it looks in the picture. Order your regular size. I printed out the scale provided by Cabelas and that put me a size bigger. I was leary, so i ordered my regular size and they fit perfect. You will not be disappointed.

Cabela's Steel-Toe Work Hiker, a Winner!!

I purchased a pair of work-hikers here in 2008 and its time to replace them. They were the best I ever had but weren't water-proof...didn't need that feature then because I worked only indoors, but now I need a pair that is water-proof, and these were new so I decided to try them. I was not disappointed. These boots are just as comfortable as my previous pair, right out of the box! If I get 4 years out of them as I did with the last pair, that will be a bonus. This is my third pair and model of Cabela's hikers and all have exceeded my expectations for quality, fit, durability, comfort and value.
