Cabela's Ledger™ Composite Safety-Toe Work Hikers

This lightweight, comfortable, composite safety-toe work boot is waterproof and has a built-in scent-reducing system. Though this boot has all of the features needed on a busy job site, it doesn't look or feel like a traditional work boot. The Cabela's Ledger Work Hiker is constructed of full-grain leather with a waterproof Dry-Plus® barrier and padded-mesh uppers for breathability and comfort. The moisture-wicking lining keeps your feet dry and warm. The midsole is constructed with a comfortable EVA footbed, nylon plate on the outside for stability and a composite shank inside for protection. The Ledger also has a tough nonmarking rubber outsole.

SOLID ALL AROUND BOOT!

I've had this boot for almost a year now. It gets worn almost daily with a few exceptions. It's lightweight, built tough, and is great for warehouse or outdoor work. I also took these guys deer hunting this fall after forgetting my normal hunting boots. With a single wool sock, my feet were comfortable as could be in freezing temperatures, 2-3 inches of snow, mud, and an occasional foot slipping into the creek. The traction isn't as good as a traditional hunting boot but as a crossover boot that can be used in different conditions, it's pretty good. As I said earlier, I've had my boots slip into water while hunting and although I didn't keep my boot submerged, they seemed to be water proof and shed water well. My feet also sweat a lot and these boots seem to keep the odors down as they state they will.

With a little more break-in these boots will be fine.They appear to be well constructed.Size is right.Also...(very important) the steel-toe is roomy.

Great Work Boot

These are the best safety toe boots I have ever had! I gone through a lot of boots at my job and these are by far the best. Took a bit to break in but working in a quarry, welding torching and walking on steel cawalks they have up to the abuse, which is good as I am hard on them. Just keeping making them Cabelas, you know how it can be ever time you find something you like in boots them seemto be discontinued

Really good boots

I needed a really good boot for work that had a safety toe. I previously bought Carolina's and they hurt my feet/toes. I've always trusted Cabela's and have worn many of their boots in the past. These were great right out of the box. I haven't had any problem and they broke in quickly. I will definitely get another pair in the future.
