Cabela's Serengeti Safari™ II Long-Sleeve Shirt – Tall

  • Supple, cotton calico canvas
  • Antimicrobial wicking finish
  • Four large shell loops
Redesigned with even more safari-inspired features, this shirt is ready for travel to the Serengeti and beyond. Made of supple, cotton calico canvas with an antimicrobial wicking finish, it dries faster than untreated shirts. And bellows pockets on the chest have inverted pleats, which are less likely to catch on foliage or gear. Behind each pocket there’s a large zippered security compartment, one vertical and the other horizontal. One pocket also includes four large shell loops for safari-size ammunition. Sleeve pocket. Epaulets. Swiss tabs. Imported.
Tall sizes: M-5XL, For men 6’ to 6’4".

Decreasing Quality

I have been buying the Serengheti shirt for years. I have 3 of them, and the one in the best condition is the oldest, which has a heavier weight fabric and better sewing. The newest one already has a stress rip in an unlikely spot, lower front on a shirt worn outside the pants. I wish they would go back to a higher grade of fabric. For the price, I think they can do better.

Almost great shirt

I've had my first Serengeti shirt so long I finally had my wife turn the frayed collar. I love this shirt and couldn't bear to throw it out. Bought a new model a few months ago, and while I agree that the sleeve tabs should be placed higher, I still like the shirt. I just roll up the sleeves the old fashioned way. One great improvement over the old one is the side zipper on the left breast pocket - great for a cell phone.

Cotton does not always Kill

The best all cotton outer wear shirt for a variety of environments. I use mine in hunting, in shooting sports and yard work. It is cotton, not quite as good for cool weather as the Worsterlons or my Pendleton, but it is Cotton after all.
