Great Jacket

I just received the jacket today. I have yet to wear it outside in the rain to test it out. I am 6'2", 170 lbs. I bought the XL tall jacket and it fits and feels great. I bought it a little big so that I can layer my clothes and not feel constricted.

I have several rain gear products including goretex for my hunting, fishing, outdoor activities.In spring 2011 I was looking for a lightweight goretex parka (not jacket) with venting zips and nice functionality. As a surprise to me, I found these characteristics from Cabelas Trailhead product on very attractive price level, so bought two of these in different colors. I have used these parkas in severe weather, constant heavy rain in my outdoor activities and they have kept me always dry. I'm 6'4", 200 lbs, Tall XL was a perfect fit for me.

I owned a North Face Gore Tex jacket that this jacket closely resembles except the stitched logo and $400 price tag... Its got a heavy duty, durable feel to it and is my rainjacket for a cold rainy day. Only thing I dont like is the drab grey color zippers, but the water sealing on the zipper is amazing! First time I wore it out the water literally rolled off it and the fabric was dry..

Excellent for rain and the snow!

Bought this to wear snowboarding / camping. Very comfortable and excellent build quality. Love the hood - has a hat brim built into it. Waterproof zippers / pack-friendly pockets / lightweight.
Keep in mind this is just a shell so grab some fleece to go under it for the cold stuff.
